Clark S. Bledsoe

December 24, 1961 — October 29, 2019

Clark S. Bledsoe, age 57 of New Trier, died suddenly at home on Tuesday, October 29, 2019. Clark was born in Geneva, Illinois December 24, 1961 to Harriett (Nelson) Richardson and Steve Bledsoe. Clark ate, slept and breathed music. He wrote endless amounts of lyrics and performed his original songs as well as cover tunes with fellow musicians that turned into wonderful, loving friendships. He played all over the midwest for 25+ years, including some national tours. Some of the fun events that happened along his musical journey were being a runner up on Nashville's "Be A Star" show and being a top 10 finalist (out of 3000 entries) on K102 Minnesota Idol. Clark enjoyed astrology, science, animals and nature. He loved spending time outdoors. He also loved to play frisbee golf. He was creative, caring, kind and could make anyone feel like family. Clark "aka Julio" was the biggest "jokester" of them all. He could make anyone laugh on cue. Clark was a loving son, brother, father, grandpa and Uncle. He was preceded in death by his mother, Harriett. Clark is survived by his daughters, Carly (Jake) Beckel and Casey Bledsoe; granddaughter, Luna Beckel; sisters, Kristin (Todd) Jensen and Katy (Dustin) Hauer; nephews, Jacob and Thomas Jensen; and by other relatives and friends. A Celebration of Clark's Life is being planned, and will be announced at a later time. Arrangements are being completed by affordablemncremation.com, a service of Starkson Family Life Celebration Chapel of Hastings.
