Cindy Loesch

Cindy L. Loesch, age 66, of Hastings, passed away peacefully at home June 27, 2017, after a courageous battle with cancer. Cindy was born February 5, 1951 in Cedar Rapids, IA to Clifford Keetly and Virginia Freiermuth. Cindy was known for the custom piatas she made for everyone’s delight, especially for her grandchildren’s birthdays. She was all about family, and being a wonderful homemaker and mother to her children. Cindy was a loving wife to her husband of 45 years, Don Loesch, and loved their special drives to look for deer. Her laughter, smile, puzzle table and card gatherings will be missed by all. Cindy was preceded in death by her parents; brother, David Keetley; and grandson, David Cecka. She is survived by her husband, Donald Loesch; children, Tim (Pauline) Loesch, Wanda (Steve) Harapat, Danielle Loesch, Carrie (Erik) Lundsted, Rebecca (Brian) Withrow; 12 grandkids; 5 great grandkids; 5 brothers and 3 sisters; and many other relatives and friends. A memorial gathering will be held on Friday (6/30) from 3:00 -5:00 PM at Wise Family Funeral Home, 400 Spring St., Hastings. A memorial service will be held at 5:00 PM at the funeral home.
