Christopher "Tyrrell" Wilkerson

Christopher "Tyrrell" Wilkerson, age 26 of Hastings, died suddenly on Saturday, March 12, 2016 at his home. Christopher Tyrrell, the son of Christopher and Becky (Scott) Wilkerson, was born on July 13, 1989 in Lawton, Oklahoma. Tyrrells family later moved to Minnesota in 1998 where they became active at Christs Family Church. He loved watching movies, going to the cabin and visiting with people. Tyrrell will be remembered for having a great sense of humor. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Roosevelt Wilkerson and his uncle, Benard Wilkerson. Tyrrell is survived by his parents, Christopher and Becky of Hastings; his siblings, Sinjin, Darius and Tayghan Wilkerson all of Hastings; his grandparents, Illa (Clarence) Scott of Cheyenne, Wyoming, Margaret Wilkerson of Indianapolis, Indiana and Doris Wilkerson of Anderson, Indiana; his great grandmother, Willie Mae Wilkerson of Anderson, Indiana; his aunts and uncles, Charlie, Bob (Marcia), Bryan (Kelly), Blaine (Tracy), Wygenia and Louis (Margaret); and by many cousins, friends and other family members. Memorial services will be held 11 a.m. Monday, March 21, 2016 at Christs Family Church, 518 East Second Street, Hastings, with Pastor Joe Hannah officiating. Visitation will be held at the church for one hour prior to the service on Monday. Arrangements are being completed by Caturia-Smidt Funeral Home Cremation Services in Hastings.
