Cheryl Michling

Cheryl A. Michling, age 67, of Farmington, passed away January 31, 2016. She was born in Madelia, MN on August 26, 1948 to Martin and Beth Gruis. She was a quick witted, funny, happy grandma who loved spending time with her grandchildren. She loved flowers, cooking and enjoyed her many casino trips. Cheryl is preceded in death by her son, Brett; grandson, Brandon Horst; parents, Martin and Beth Gruis; brother, Phillip Gruis; and the love of her life, Mike Korneski. She is survived by her daughters, Brenda Horst, and Bridgett (Mark) Siebenaler; grandchildren, Jack Horst, Christopher (Berenice) Horst, Jennifer Horst, Abbey Siebenaler (fianc, Rob), Aaron Siebenaler, and Anna Siebenaler; sisters, Diane (Bob) Albright, and Janet (Duane) Miller; brother, Richard (Galena) Gruis; nieces, nephews, and many friends. A memorial gathering will be held on Friday (2/5) from 4-7 PM at Wise Family Funeral Home, 400 Spring St., Hastings. Interment will take place at a later date at Lakeside Cemetery in Hastings.
