Cathy E. Thyen

Cathy E. Thyen, age 41, of Richfield, formerly of Hastings died on Sunday, February 8, 2009 following a long and courageous battle with cancer.Cathy was born March 31, 1967 in Hastings to Roger J. and Agnes A. (Sadlowsky) Thyen and was a 1985 graduate of Hastings High School. She worked in the retail industry as a category development specialist. She was preceded by her grandparents and her godfather. Cathy is survived by her parents; sisters Carrie Kellerand Cindy (Dana) Collins; very special nephews and niece, Noah, Aric,and Riley Beth all of Hastings; her dog, best friend companion Cisco; also many aunts, uncles, cousins; many wonderful and caring friends. The Memorial Service will be held at 10:30am Thursday, February 12, 2009at CHRIST�S FAMILY CHURCH, 518Second St. E., Hastings. The visitation will be held from 4-8pm Wednesday at the CATURIA-SMIDT FUNERAL HOME, 201 Seventh Street East, Hastings and also 1 hr. prior to the service at church on Thursday.In lieu of flowers, Cathy would prefer donations made to Best Friends Animal Society, 5001 Angel Canyon Rd., Kanab, UT 84741 or contact www.bestfriends.org
