Carol A. Gores

Carol A. Gores, age 66 of New Trier, died April 15, 2013 at Trinity Care Center in Farmington, after a brief stay. Carol was born December 17, 1946 in Hastings to Henry and Juanita (Mamer) Bauer. She was a 1964 graduate of Hastings High School and married James �Jim� Gores on November 4, 1967 at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Hastings. Carol had worked at the First National Bank and at 3M in the office. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and caregiver who was really the matriarch and �glue� that held the family together. Carol will be dearly missed by all who knew her.She was preceded in death by her father; brother Jim Bauer and sister Mary Weiers. Carol is survived by her husband James; daughters Ann (Jack) Plumley and Kristen (Mark) Forster; three grandchildren Claire Plumley, Emily and Luke Forster; mother Juanita Bauer; siblings Marvin Bauer and Laura Bauer; also many nieces, nephews, other family and friends. The Memorial Mass, officiated by Fr. Cole Kracke will be held 11 AM Saturday, April 20, 2013 at the St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 2035 West Fifteenth St., Hastings. Visitation will be held AT THE CHURCH from 4-7 PM Friday, please use the east entrance,and 1 hour prior to the service. Interment will be held at a later date.
