Betty J. Reller, age 85 of Apple Valley and formerly of Fargo, North Dakota, died peacefully on Sunday evening, January 13, 2019. Betty Jane, the youngest daughter of John and Karen (Berg) Myran, was born on September 8, 1933, in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Following her graduation from Minneapolis South High School, Betty was united in marriage to William A. Reller on August 5, 1950. In her younger years, Betty was a baton major of which she was very proud of, and enjoyed being active in the Shriners Childrens Hospital Auxiliary as well as the Social Sorority. Betty was a longtime employee at Sears in Fargo, and also worked at the El Zagel Golf Course. She was preceded in death by her parents; twin sister, Beverly Joanne; siblings, Mildred, Joseph, Kenneth, Norman, LeRoy, and Clarice; and by her husband, William A. Reller. Betty is survived by her children, Billie (Dave) Demuth, David (Phyllis) Reller, and Gregory Reller; grandchildren, Alyssa (Jim) Martin, Eric (Ibadet) Reller, Stephanie (Mike) Marquart, Kristin Reller, David Burrous, and Matthew Burrous; six great grandchildren; and by many other relatives and friends. Memorial services will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 19, 2019, at Starkson Family Life Celebration Chapel Caturia-Smidt Chapel, with Gordon Gathright officiating. Immediately following the service, a time of fellowship will follow at the funeral home. Private family interment will take place at Riverside Cemetery in Fargo, North Dakota, at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the Shriners Childrens Hospital or to the donors choice in memory of Betty. Arrangements are being completed by Starkson Family Life Celebration Chapel of Hastings.
