Betsy Graham Slapnicher

Betsy G. Slapnicher, age 63, of Hastings, passed away at her home surrounded by her family on March 4, 2011. She was born In Hartford, CT on July 12, 1947 to Robert and Catherine Doud. She married Joe Slapnicher on June 12, 1971 in Collinsville, CT.Betsy was preceded in death by her brother, Bob Doud; mother, Catherine Doud; father, Robert Doud; and her aunt, Elizabeth 'Bet' Graham. She is survived by her husband, Joe of Hastings; sons; Michael of Minneapolis, Eric (Kelly) of Minneapolis, Peter of Hastings, and Tim (Melissa) of Hastings; grandchildren, Malia, Micah, Graham and Amara; dog, Sophie.A Funeral Service, officiated by Pastor Jeff Utecht, will be held Tuesday (3/8), 11:00 a.m. at the United Methodist Church of Hastings, 615 W. 15th St., Hastings. A Visitation will be held Mon. (3/7) from 4:00 - 8:00 pm at Wise Family Funeral Home, 400 Spring St. Hastings and one hour prior to the service at church. Memorials preferred to www.water.org
