Arvilla E. Steuernagel

Arvilla E. Steuernagel, age 96, of Maplewood and formerly of Hastings, died Saturday, May 15, 2010.Arvilla was born September 21, 1913 in St. Charles, MN to William and Elizabeth (Bohne) Barr. She married Marvin Steuernagel on June 7, 1936 in Lewiston. She had taught nursery school. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and5 siblings. Arvilla is survived by her sons Gerald (Kathy) Steuernagel of Dresser, WI, and Richard (Paula) Steuernagel of Eau Claire, WI; 7 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.The Funeral service, officiated by Rev. Thomas Aadland will be at 11AM Wednesday, May 19, 2010 at Shepherd of the Valley Lutheran Church, 1450 W. Fourth St., Hastings, with a visitation one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Evergreen Memorial Gardens in Mahtomedi. Pallbearers were Scott Steuernagel, Michael Steuernagel, Erik Steuernagel, Jeffrey Steuernagel, Daniel Steuernagel, Susan Mattson, and Andrew Steuernagel.
