Arlin Dale Albertson

Arlin D. Albertson, age 75, of Hastings, died Sunday, June 23, 2013 at his home after an extended illness. Arlin was born July 30, 1937 in Lamberton, MN to Russell and Bertha (Cazette) Albertson. He was a veteran of the United States Army from 1960 until 1962 and served in Germany. He was employed as a heavy equipment operator in the construction industry all his life.He is survived by children Grant Albertson of Owatonna, MN, Ross Albertson of Hastings, Corey Albertson of St. Paul and Abby Albertson of Farmington; 3 grandchildren Ryan and Molly Albertson and Brody Goehtz; 2 brothers Richard Albertson of Westbrook, MN and Dean Albertson of Walnut Grove, MN; also his special friend Dorothy Hilsgen of Hastings; former wife Judy Boe of Owatonna, MN. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister Karen.A Memorial Service conducted by Gordon Gathright, will be held Wednesday, June 26, 2013 at 11 AM at the Caturia-Smidt Funeral Home, 201 Seventh Street East, Hastings, MN. There will be a gathering of friends and family 1 hour prior to the service.
