Arlene Marie Mueller

Arlene M. Mueller, age 92 of Hastings, went to be with her Lord, Jesus on December 29, 2016. Arlene was born in 1924 in Meadowlands, MN and resided in Hastings for 62 years. She was preceded in death by her parents, Stephen and Anna (Jenister) Sontra and sisters, Virginia, Lillian, Agnes and Oral. Arlene is survived by her husband of 62 years, Harold C. Mueller; children, Gary (Betsy) Mueller, Barbara (David) June and Carl Mueller; also seven grandchildren and ten great grandchildren; sisters, Louise (Richard) Colenso, Anna Sontra and Hazel Mapstone; also many cousins, nieces and nephews, other family and friends. Arlene was known by family and friends as a woman of strong Christian faith, who helped support several family members in Christian ministry and missions. She also served many different organizations in a volunteer capacity, some in retirement with her husband, Harold. Arlene and Harold enjoyed traveling throughout the United States to visit family and friends, especially visiting every state park in Minnesota, camping with various church groups. She will be missed by both family and friends. A graveside service for Arlene will be held at 11:05 am Thursday, January 5, 2016 at Ft. Snelling National Cemetery in assembly area #1. Arrangements are being completed by Caturia-Smidt Funeral Home Cremation Services of Hastings.
