Arlene E. Schutz

Arlene E. Schutz, age 73, of Hastings, died Wednesday, December 23, 2009 following a short illness.Arlene was born October 23, 1936 at Woodville, WI to parents Jacob and Edna (Rodewald) Reinhardt. She married Raymond Schutz on February 17, 1952 in Woodville. She was a homemaker.She was preceded in death by her parents and 3 brothers Carl, George and Robert Reinhardt.She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Raymond, by her children Jan (Ron) Green of Farmington, MN and Randy (Debbie) Schutz of Cottage Grove; 5 grandchildren Heather Gunter, Eric Green, Brandon Green, Ryan Schutz and Amber Rhy; also by 6 great grandchildren.A visitation will be held Monday, December 28, 2009 from 4-8 pm at Caturia-Smidt Funeral Home, 201 East Seventh St., Hastings, and Tuesday one hour prior to the funeral at the church.The funeral will be Tuesday December 29, 2009 at 11:00 am at St. John's Ev. Lutheran Church, 202 Eighth Street West, Hastings, MN. Reverend Percy Damrow will preside. Interment will follow in Lakeside Cemetery, Hastings.
