Anthony Joseph "Tony" Bruner, age 35, of Hastings has gone to Valhalla to feast and fight on April 23, 2016. He passed from injuries he sustained in a motorcycle accident in Hastings. Anthony Joseph was born July 31, 1980 in St. Paul. He graduated from school there and from Dakota County Technical College in Rosemount. He married Raquel Bignell August 29, 2015 in Hastings. He was employed as a heavy equipment mechanic for Hayden-Murphy Equipment Co. in Minneapolis. Tony loved riding his Harley, boating, hunting, the Vikings, Twins and the Wild, and was an excellent cook. He also enjoyed playing the guitar, his Chevy truck and being a diesel mechanic. He especially enjoyed time spent with his family. Tony was preceded in death by brothers Dane and Danny. He is survived by his wife Raquel, his children Dane, Thaddeus, Alyssa, Lexi, Payten, Danyelle, Gage and Chasity; his father Steve (Von) Bruner, his grandma Marge, his sisters Heather (David), Crystal, Tami Tina; his in-laws Jeanne Bignell and Ray Bignell, brother in law Jerry Bignell, as well as other family, his many friends and dog Pepsi.A visitation will be held Friday, April 29, 2016 from 6-8 PM at the Caturia-Smidt Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 201 7th Street East, Hastings. The Funeral Service will be Saturday, April 30th at 11:00 AM. With visitation held 1 hour prior to the service. Honorary pallbearers are Troy Teff, Kelly Hackbarth, Matt Hartley, Donny Kerstetter, Jesse Blumke, Richard Wondrow, Dave Mackey, Regie Patnode, Scott Kendrick and Randy Landeen.
