Anna Linehan died on Wednesday, July 3, 2013 at Augustana Nursing Home in Hastings, MN. She was 97 years old. Anna Louise Wilhelmina Glienke Linehan was born on April 1, 1916 in Duxbury, MN to Carl Glienke and Minnie Rothenburger Glienke. She lived in Duxbury, MN and graduated from Sandstone High School at the age of 17. She went on to teachers training in Sandstone. She began teaching at the age of 18 and taught in Finlayson and Willow River. Anna fit in teaching between having children. In 1953 she stopped teaching and had taught all of her children at one time or another. On November 7, 1936 she was united in marriage to Edward James Linehan Sr. in Kerrick, MN. Anna also worked in retail sales at Sokol�s Department Store in Richfield. Went to Three Sisters in the Hub Shopping Center and from there to the opening of Southdale Center at Peck and Peck and was top sales lady for several years. She retired when she was 62 and moved to Hinckley. She was very active in the Senior Center and the school system. Preceded in death by her husband Edward Sr., son Dennis Linehan, and daughter-in-law Ruthann Linehan. Survived by children Jack (Kay) Linehan, Edward Linehan Jr., Shirley (Mike) Alm, Michael (Linda) Linehan, grandchildren, Grady (Julia) Linehan, Kelly (Mary) Linehan, Meghan (Jason) Grace, Lorraine Linehan, Edward III (Kerry) Linehan, Vicki Wagner, Michele Gagnon, Thomas Gagnon, Debbie Henderson, Mike Jr. (Cory) Linehan, Laurie (John) Mithuen, 19 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren. Funeral Services 3:00 P.M. Monday, July 8, 2013 at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Hinckley, MN with Pastor James Groleau officiating. Visitation 1:00 P.M. to 3:00 P.M. prior to services. Burial at Rosehill Cemetery, Hinckley, MN
