Anna E. Harlan

Anna E. Harlan, age 90, of Hastings, formerly of St. Paul died on Wednesday, December 10, 2008 at the Augustana Health Care Center in Hastings. Anna was born on June 3, 1918 in St. Paul to Axel and Agnes (LeClaire) Ronneng. She had worked for Swift Co. in the meat packing industry prior to retirement.Anna was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Neal Harlan; also 1 brother and 2 sisters. She is survived by her daughter Carol Foley of Hastings; son Jack Harlan of Boise, ID; also 6 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.The visitation for Anna will be held at the Caturia-Smidt Funeral Home, 201 East 7th Street in Hastings from 3 - 7 P.M. Sunday, December 14, 2008 and also 1 hour prior to the service at the church on Monday.The funeral mass, officiated by Rev. Fr. Abraham George will be held at the St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 2035 15th Street West, Hastings at 10:00 A.M. on Monday, December 15, 2008. Interment will follow in the Fort SnellingNational Cemetery at 1:00 P.M. Monday, assembly area #1.The pallbearers are Jack Harlan, Daniel Foley, Dennis Foley, Justen Hart, Ed Ronneng, and George Helcl.
