Andrew J. Bauer

Andrew J. Bauer, age 88 of Hager City, WI died December 24, 2012 at his residence. Andrew was born March 13, 1924 in Marshan Township, MN to Ferdinand �Fred� and Anna (Meier) Bauer. He was engaged in farming most of his life. He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters Rosa �Rose� (Philip) Becker and Margaret Bauer; brothers Anthony �Tony� (Eva), Michael �Mike� (Florence), Matthew �Math� (Grace), Nicholas �Nick� (Marcella), and Leo. Andy is survived by his wife of 57 years, Patricia (Maher); children Anne (David) Ahmann, Susan (Allan Fung) Bauer, Liza (Rick) Chatt, Urban (Kathryn) Bauer, Michael; grandchildren Laura and Jonathan Ahmann, Christina (Ryan Jacobson) and Bethany Fung, Joseph, Samuel, Elizabeth and Lydia Chatt and Karl and Megan Bauer; great-grandchild Ashton Ahmann; sisters Louise Kimmes, Helen (John) Peine, Emma Doyle, Susie DuShane, and Tillie (Jerry) Johnson; also by sister-in-law Rosalie Bauer. The Funeral Mass, officiated by Fr. William Matzek will be held 11 AM Thursday, December 27, 2012 at St. Mary�s Catholic Church, Big River, 10137 570th Ave. River Falls, WI. Visitation will be held at church 1 hour prior to the funeral. Interment will be in St. Columbkill Cemetery. Pallbearers are Joseph Chatt, Samuel Chatt, Elizabeth Chatt,Jonathan Ahmann, Laura Ahmann and Karl Bauer. Memorials are preferred to the family.
