Alyce M. Kieffer, age 74, of Hastings died Friday, September 17, 2010, at her home.Alyce was born January 4th, 1936 in Hastings to Peter Marie (Moes) Gergen. She married Harold J. Kieffer on September 5th, 1959 at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Hastings.She worked for over 30 years as a Finance Manager for ITT.Alyceis preceded in death by her husband Harold; her daughter Laurie Smead; her brothers Alois, Lee, Paul and Nick Gergen; her sistersHelen and Rosella McCoy. She is survived by her children Allan (Anne) of Hastings, Ann (David) Wengeler of Hampton, Kerri (Robert) Pollard of Hastings and John of Hastings; grandchildren MitchellSmead, James Smead, Michael Kieffer, Daniel Wengeler, Kalli Kieffer, Cole Kieffer, Sarah Kieffer, Bradley Wengeler, Macy Pollard, GregoryPollard; son-in-law Keith Smead of Hastingsand sister Eleanor (Bertie) Charlton of Hastings.The funeral mass, officiated by Fr. Jay Kythe, will be 10:30AM Tuesday, at St. Joseph'sCatholic Church in Miesville, MN.Interment church cemetery.The visitation will be at the church4-8PMMonday and 1 hour prior to the service.Dave Wengeler, Michael Kieffer, BobPollard, Mitch Smead, James Smead, and Randy McCoy will serve as pallbearers and Cole Kieffer and Bradley Wengeler will serve as honorary pallbearers.
