Aloysius "Al" Fox

Aloysius N. �Al� Fox, age 86, of Hastings, died March 5, 2011 at Prescott Nursing and Rehabilitation Community. Al was born October 8, 1924 in Hastings to Louis and Susan (Eilen) Fox. He was a graduate of Cannon Falls High School, and served his country during WWII and the Korean Conflict. Al married Betty Caneff on November 8, 1952 at Guardian Angels Catholic Church in Hastings. Prior to retirement he was employed at St. Paul Ammonia Products and Hudson Manufacturing. Al was a member of the Hastings VFW and American Legion. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife Betty; siblings Roy, Knob, and Gerv. Al is survived by his children David (Diane) of Hastings, Terry (Roxy) of Mankato, Nancy (Dave) Mulliner, Randy (Sheri), Susan (Kelly) Morrow, Lori O�Brien (friend Rodney Kimmes), and Lisa (Mike) Kilmer, all of Hastings; 17 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; andsisters Monica Driscoll and Bernita Riesch, both of Hastings. The Funeral Mass, officiated by Rev. Allan Paul Eilen, will be held 11AM Thursday, March 10, 2011 at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 2035 W.Fifteenth St., Hastings, with a visitation two hours prior to the service. Interment, with fullmilitary honors provided by Hastings VFW Lyle Russell Post #1210, will follow in the parish cemetery. The pallbearerswill beRyan Mulliner, Kelli Gochenhauer, Amber Bauer, Nick Fox, Ashley Holmberg, Kristi Elhard, Megan Kube, Luke Fox, and Jessie Morrow.
