Albert Otto Ehrich was born September 9, 1924 in Richland Township, MN to Frederick and Veronica Ehrich. He married Delores (Pat) Patterson on June 6, 1948. He worked as a hired hand for many local farmers in the Kenyon and Hastings areas. Albert was employed by Con-Agra Foods, and retired from the flour mill in 1990. He was an active member of Hope Lutheran Church in Hastings, and was a member of the Lions Club. He enjoyed working out at the YMCA everyday. His hobbies were watching the Minnesota Twins, Minnesota Vikings, and Tiger Woods. He loved to bowl, play cribbage, euchre, and fishing at the lake. He was preceded in death by his wife Delores in 1996; 5 sisters; and 5 brothers. Albert is survived by children Gloria (Donald) Maki of Anderson, MO, Dianne (Raymond) Raway of Hastings, Kay (Scott) Dodge of Hastings, LaVonne (Steven) Kimmes of W. Des Moines, IA, Janice (Steven) Sanders of Sebastian, FL, and Kevin (Shannon) of Austin; also 21 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; and sister Violet Zabel of Kenyon. Memorial service 3PM Sunday, May 23, 2010 at Hope Lutheran Church, 16898 Michael Ave., Hastings, with a gathering two hours prior to the service at church.
