Albert "Bud" Anfang

Albert 'Bud' Anfang, age 85, a longtime Koch Refinery employee, of Hastings, passed away at United Hospital in St. Paul on October 11, 2015. He was born to Albert and Kathryn Anfang in Richmond, MN on September 8, 1930. He married Jean Kuelbs on June 20, 1952 in New Ulm, MN. Bud was an avid golfer who cherished his winters in Alabama. He was a devout catholic who loved being a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton. He was most of all a family man. He loved spending his time with his family, especially his beautiful grandchildren. Bud was preceded in death by his wife, Jean; daughter, Teresa; 2 brothers and 4 sisters. He is survived by his children, Christopher (Margaret) Anfang of Prescott; Mark (Michelle) Anfang of Hastings; and Kathryn (Greg) Hayden of Apple Valley; grandchildren, Karey; Jenny; Stephanie; Bridget; Molly; Matt and Grace; 4 great grandchildren; sister, Mary K (Ed) Savoie; and many other relatives and friends. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Wed. (10/14) at 11:00 a.m. at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 2035 W. 15th St., Hastings. There will be a gathering 1 hour prior to mass at church. Interment will be in the church cemetery. Memorials preferred. The Wise Family Funeral Home is serving the family.
