Aimee L. Leifeld

January 2, 1970 — July 12, 2021

Aimee L. Leifeld, age 51 of Hastings, died from an unexpected cardiac event on Monday afternoon, July 12, 2021. Aimee, the daughter of Tom and Marlene (Siebenaler) Majeski, was born on January 2, 1970, in Red Wing. She attended grade school at St John the Baptist in Vermillion and graduated from Hastings High School with the class of 1988. Aimee continued her education at University of Wisconsin -- River Falls, where she graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration. All throughout high school and college Aimee enjoyed working at Emily's Bakery & Deli with her sister Renee. She married Chad Oberg and they were blessed with two daughters, Brenna and Lauren. Aimee began her career at Highway Sales in 1992, and continued to work for the company in many roles, most recently as the Highway Sales Manager. On August 29, 2008, Aimee was united in marriage to Jeff Leifeld. She was thrilled to add two more daughters, Mikaela and Rae, into her life, as her daughters were her pride and joy. Aimee was a savvy shopper who could always hunt down the best deals, a phenomenal cook and baker, and had a passion for taking pictures of family and nature. She also enjoyed watching “Friends”, reading on her Kindle, fishing only when the fish were biting, spending time with family and friends at various cabins, and, of course, decorating her home on a regular basis. If you knew Aimee well, you know she never left the house without her hair and make-up done, along with a necklace to match. She was always five steps ahead of everyone when it came to planning and made sure we all had everything we needed. She was preceded in death by her in-laws, George and Kathleen Leifeld; and by her grandparents, Joe and Louise Siebenaler and Leonard and Regina Majeski. Aimee is survived by her husband, Jeff; daughters, Brenna Oberg (Chase Luebker), Lauren Oberg (Clay Harris), Mikaela Leifeld (Pat Bower), and Rae Leifeld; parents, Tom and Marlene Majeski; sisters, Renee (John) Kasel and Sharee (Kyle) Hanson; brothers and sisters in law, Helen (Gary) Wood, Nancy (Richard) Traen, Monica Scully, Rose (Paul) Brennan, Lisa (Terry) Youngren, John (Patty) Leifeld, Jim (Sandy) Leifeld, and Julie (Grant) Olson; and by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 20, 2021, at Starkson Family Life Celebration Chapel of Hastings. Private family interment will take place at a later date. Family and friends are cordially invited to a visitation from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Monday evening, and for one hour prior to the service on Tuesday morning. A reception will also immediately be following the funeral service on Tuesday, at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to a future scholarship that will be set up in memory of Aimee. Arrangements are being completed by Starkson Family Life Celebration Chapel of Hastings.
